Honesty and Perfection: A Journey to Self Discovery

What if perfection wasn’t about performance, but about being fully honest especially with the pain we carry? This poem reflects on how affliction can become a blessing, how peace is hidden in loss, and how true righteousness refuses to retaliate. The heart that walks with God speaks only of heaven.

A barefoot figure in simple linen walks through a barren wilderness at dusk, head bowed. Behind them, dark shadows dissolve into light; ahead, a golden path leads to a glowing horizon.

It’s ok to be hurt.

Its not ok to hurt the one who hurt you.

Innocence walks upright, it understands beyond pain because it endures pain.

Righteousness is the reward of the basest, who are unappreciated and never blame anyone but themselves.

Peace is hidden in the secrets of loss.

Affliction is a blessing, to isolate internally what needs removal and correction.

Accept the truth

Accept correction

Confess the hidden inner person

Receive direction

Be lead

Be forgiven

Be honest continuously

Be perfect

Perfection is simple

It’s defined by God not what the world thinks perfect is

Perfect is complete uncomfortable honesty intent on being conformed to Christ Jesus

Out of the mouth comes the abundance of the heart and issues of life

A repentant heart does not inquire of the past

A heart with God is in heaven and all things are spoken of heaven the promise land

Not of the earth
